Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm aiming to be fluent in German by April.
ABOUT ME
I'm a musician living in Sheffield, which is my home town. I currently play lead guitar in the punk/rock band Heavy Duck and I teach piano and guitar lessons privately from my home.
I'm interested in a wide range of music - I was brought up with classical, got interested in rock and metal during my teens and I've always had a love for video game soundtracks (particularly by the composer Nobuo Uematsu).
I'm currently participating in a training course in the Feldenkrais Method, which takes place in Germany for 8 weeks every year. I'm learning to speak German and am interested in meeting up with German speakers here in Sheffield.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is more interesting when we're learning - to me, it doesn't really matter what I learn as long as I go about it in an interesting way. So I think it's important to break out of routine sometimes and do something new.
