ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Nico, and I enjoy moonlight strolls on the beach, red roses by the armful, and participation dances.
Just kidding! I’m not a fan of any of those things (except the participation dances...I do a Macarena). More seriously, my friends would describe me as easy going, a good listener and creative.
I’m originally Greek but I've been living in Australia for a little while. I like travelling and I love the the surprise of the unknown. I love to learn about new places, people and cultures. I like to be in harmony with the world around me. I like to read and keep up with many things–politics, social issues, culture, travels, people.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be as you wish to seem." -Socrates
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Anything about CS until March, 2014. I was at a rooftop bar in the heart of the city of Sydney and a friend and I were having some drinks. After a while we noticed that a lot of people came to the bar after us and everyone was talking to each other. Then I went to get a drink and as I was waiting at the line a guy asked me if I am there for the CS Polyglot club Event. I said no, but I got to have a chat with him about what that is. Then immediately my friend and I joined the event and it was an amazing first experience. Since then we've been going to the polyglot club every week and we also organise it sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I always like to listen to the music and a big movies fun. My music taste varies as I'm interested to explore cultures through music, in the past little while I've also started to try and write my own music, mostly electronic. Some of my favourite movies would include "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Forest Gump", "Big Lebowski" etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That would be when I went through the Thong-Lo cave in Laos, a 7km long cave with a river. Probably the longest cave where you can get in and out from the other side while still being in the same waters. Amazing experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a few great conversations around politics. Also I'm a wannabe cook so food sharing, especially from the greek cuisine, would be something nice.
