About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making films and an album, and yawn accumulating capital...
ABOUT ME
Staying put for the time being in my home town making music and working as a photo re-toucher. I like living by the river here, although my heart lies in the East End. Much of this city is ingrained in my subconscious, years spent getting lost, roaming the meaningful chaos of the megatropolis in an almost constant state of wonderment.
Cycling about, flicking through racks of records, gawping at art installations, hanging around the street corner, hob-knobing with aristocrats.
One of my biggest joys is the process of nature, I've amassed compost, and I like to watch it decompose, and to reabsorb it into plump tomatoes and variagated vegetation.
Come over for some chutney, and a cup of earl grey, we can talk about 'stuff' in its muchness.
PHILOSOPHY
The world is a stage and life is like a book, and if you don''t travel you'll only read one page and we shouldn't let the idiots win cos laws are like sausages and they make less sense when you know what's gone into making them. Om.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to whoever, as I live alone I like the company, bring your stories, songs, your home baking, I welcome you.
I started a couch surfing house up in Alice Springs, Oz, by accident, I was in the paper for squatting a house (see photos) and the locals took me under their wing, and we got other travelers to stay, but the guys don't have the internet or a computer yet (some of the best people don't). But it'll happen, if one place needs a CS house, it's Alice Springs...
Where ever I stay I take pride in CLEANING < COOKING and of course stimulating conversation, peeps always appreciate the guitar and songs too.
I'm happy to host interesting wanderers, I seem to get a lot of musos come through here, as it seems we all have some innate mutual understanding.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once I stuck up a picture of my face superimposed onto the head of Emmanuelle Beart, I had much fewer CS requests.
Recently I drove to Morocco, passing through Madrid, I made many couch requests, and no one hosted me, which is a shame as I really needed a shower and I love Madrid I would have loved to spend more time there, instead I spent the evening marching through the streets, bare chested, singing Franco inspired anthems at the top of my lungs, which wasn't an experience I, or Madrid, wanted to have.
