I am a park ranger who is experiencing the winter off season. I have been working at a different national park each summer for 2 years and will start on my third by spring time. Until then I am traveling down the west coast surfing and enjoying the winter sunshine. I don’t have a lot of money so I am staying at hostels, sleeping in my car, and using couch surfing. I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail in 2013 which is 2,186 miles and goes from Georgia to Maine across 14 states. I also hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail in 2015 which goes from Mexico to Canada through California Oregon and Washington and took 5 months and 10 days. I lived in Flagstaff Arizona and worked in the Grand Canyon for a year and a half for a private backpacking guiding company. Now my addiction is surfing and I intend to surf as much as possible this winter. I hope that if you can provide me with a couch, you can also provide me with friendship.
