About Me
CURRENT MISSION
42, and grand adventure.
ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Nick. I don't know what to say about myself other than that I love traveling, being outdoors, And people, I love people. I don't think you can ever run out of things to discuss with someone.
I also never want to settle down, there are too many things to do in the world in such a short time.
PHILOSOPHY
That is a tough question. my views on many things have changed, and will continue to change for the rest of my life, but there are a few things that I've always held important. Those are helping others unconditionally, curiosity in all things, and standing up for what you believe is right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm traveling to and around the east coast starting Feb 8th from Minnesota. I'll be living out of my backpack, so surfing will be a godsend in big cities, where I'd rather not sleep under a bridge, or in a homeless shelter.
Interests
I enjoy a plenitude of outdoor activities I love: reading, writing, windsurfing, hiking, skiing, biking, water skiing, sailing, climbing, urban exploring, cross country skiing, running, singing, kayaking to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books
Emerson,Siddhartha by Herman Hesse,Space Odyssey series Arthur C. Clarke, A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and For the Time Being by Annie Dillard, are some recent books i've read and enjoyed.
I love science fiction and bad movies of all sorts, and am a bit of a nerd for Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Harry Potter. Also, every movie that studio Ghibli made, I thoroughly enjoy, Hayao Miyazaki and Stanley Kubrick are my favorite directors.
I'm not sure where to start or end with what music I am interested in, it spans every genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have done was spend a season working on Mt. Holy Cross, and spent the majority of 3 months above 11'000 feet. And in the process get grazed by lightning, and have my first workday in a onesie.
