Hi! I'm Nick. Currently in the middle of doing a mechanical engineering undergrad at the University of Washington. Also pursuing an Architecture minor while I'm at it. I've spent most of my life up in Vancouver Canada but also spent some years down in L.A. I'm interested in a lot of things; right now my main hobby is riding around a fixed gear bicycle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always really wanted to travel and just experience more of the world and this is a step towards that! Who hasn't seen sick adventure montages or read meaningful inspiring life-changing memoirs? Hopefully I can do some of that too while meeting cool people in new places :)

Music, Movies, and Books

O boy. I really really really like listening to music. I think I might listen to too much actually. I almost always have headphones on whether it be studying, cycling around doing deliveries, showering, you name it. I'm currently listening to indie pop / indie rock mostly. I recently realized that for how much I adore music I don't really have much knowledge in helping create it and one of the things I'm trying to do now is to learn a DAW and some music theory!

I should read more, I only books I really read are textbooks now :(
