Mary and Nick have been married since 1993 and have 3 children. We are a very easy going and fun family. We are looking at doing some traveling as well as being very interested in hosting folks.

Mary is an English/Latin teacher at a private catholic high-school and Nick owns an Ice Cream and Popsicle business called Pops and Rockets that makes pops and ice creams named after 1980's songs and bands. We have 3 children, but only 1 at home. Our oldest lives across the street with her husband and baby son, our middle goes to LSU, and our youngest is in high school.

We welcome all people of all lifestyles and races. We strive to not judge or direct others in how they should live. We only seek to experience the commonalities between us while celebrating (and sometimes laughing about) our differences.

We are very active in our community and have lots of friends who frequently come over to our house. It is not uncommon for our friends to be visiting during your stay and we love to take our guest out to restaurants and places in our city.

Because we have a teenage daughter in the house, we are very particular about who we host. We are somewhat hesitant to host single men, But we will consider hosting a couple as long as they have a very good profile and references.

We like to host so that we can provide a safe place for travelers to stay as well as show off our awesome city.
