ABOUT ME
I do not really believe in the concept of "strangers" but rather that we are already connected, just not formally introduced. I have a sincere belief that each and every person is an amazing human being, and it's really just a matter of finding how to bring it out of us. I enjoy connecting with a person on that level of meaning and purpose, to learn about their passions and hopefully learn more about mine as well.
I am ridiculously obsessed with the sport of boxing. I spent 18 months traveling throughout Latin America training and fighting in various boxing gyms. The life lessons I learned in that experience are almost too overwhelming to explain. I know a lot of people view the sport as barbaric or inhumane, but I think you can see life and society in the sport. I seek out the stories behind the fights and many of them are simply the story of human struggle.
Right now I'm trying to put the whole experience together into some kind of book/photography/academic study project. Don't really know. Check out the site if you're interested!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got knocked out by the Guatemalan National Champion during an exhibition match in a little village called Huetan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak English, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and now a little Brazilian Portuguese. I could help you learn, but always keep in mind that I am still learning all four too.
If you want to learn how to box, I can show you some moves. I love to cook and serve food that I've learned to make around the world, but...I can't be sure you'll like it.
I REALLY like to dance, but I'm not the best teacher.
The one thing I can sincerely say that I have is my ideas and the promise that I will be open to yours.
