I'm a web designer and entrepreneur trying to see the world. I've lived in the United States most of my life, and have spent about two and half years living in China.

Travel Philosophy
I try to get a deeper understanding of a place, experience it like a local and avoid the tourist traps. I'd take street food over a hotel restaurant any day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently planning on extended traveling and am always looking for people to travel with. I'm not able to offer a couch, but can offer travel companionship.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From staying with people in Germany, to hanging out with the community members in Bangkok, thus far all of my CS experiences have been great.

Teaching Areas - What I can help you with:
Photography
I'm a photographer, focusing mostly on editorial/photojournalism type photography. I've been published in newspapers and enjoy creating documentary type photo essays. If you have photography questions I can help you out.

If you lent me your couch I can offer you a short on location portrait shoot if you wish.

Web Design
I specialize in CSS/XHTML, Wordpress, and other web technologies. If you have questions relating website design, maintenance, search engines, etc to I can offer my assistance.

Entrepreneurship & Business
Entrepreneurship is an area that I personally enjoy. I've participated in entrepreneurial groups, internships, ventures and classes and may be able to offer some advice.

Learning Areas -What I'm trying to learn:
All of the above. I would love to increase my knowledge in any of the areas that I focus on. The fields of photography, web design, and entrepreneurship are changing constantly and it's always great to keep learning.

Scuba Diving, Once I get primary certification I would love to get into underwater photography.

Yoga, It's something that I've worked on by myself, and have never had any formal training.
