Overview
About Me
I was born in Marseille and I live now in Digne, a little peaceful city between Provence and the Alps. With a master degree in tropical agronomy and forestry, I oriented my life around travels and people. Rapidly I decided to put photography and video in the center of my activities to share all the experiences I have around the world or in my own country. I have directed a dozen films on nature and sustainable development, and participated as assistant director in several other films, broadcasted in international festivals and on national channels. I have made several documentaries in Africa and Maghreb. I intend to make films on subjects that mean to me: the challenge is always to give an intimate and subjective dimension. I focus my work on a neat soundtrack and precise images where slow movements of travellings predominate. Filming is always centered on dating and sharing. My will: to try to express my sensitivity. My small production structure (www.fioravanti-production.org) regularly develops movies and video communication tools related to nature, wildlife and environmental issues, local communities and territorial sustainable development.
