我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from all over the world and make lifelong FRIENDSHIPS! ;)

Most blogs are just babbling about "you must have seen this or here the top 10 of whatever". But actually for me it is the contact with the local people that really brings you closer to the country and its culture.
And that's why I'm basically here on couchsurfing. I want to experience the real and authentic life on site. No more and no less ;D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The decision to quit my job and solo-travel around Asia for one year.

As a novice I was part of a Buddhist monk group in a jungle temple in Laos and was thus able to experience their life and practices first hand.

Trekking the Annapurna Circuit.

I smuggled hashish between my butt cheeks on a plane from Morocco to Germany.

I bought a bicycle in Budapest to travel around Slovakia and then cycle back to Germany.

I had a 24h stopover in Dubai, was super jetlagged and got drunk so hard with a CS-friend that I woke up the next day only 2h before departure and had to puke while waiting in line for the gate. But in the end, I narrowly made it. (not proud of it, though! :D)
