About Me

Fellow human who splits his time between building tech and working on rewilding projects around the world - recently coral restoration in Indonesia.

I travel mostly to spend time with friends and family, and to visit the different project sites connected to my work with Mossy Earth.

My main aim is simple - leave things better than I found them.

I’m new to Couchsurfing, but I’ve travelled a lot and have plenty of positive stays on Airbnb (linked below), so you can get a sense of how I show up as a guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my experience, the best parts of travelling come from the people you meet, not just the places you see.

Spending time with locals gives you a completely different perspective on a place - and I really value that exchange, whether that’s sharing stories, ideas, or just a good conversation at the end of the day.

I’ll be honest as well - part of the reason I’m trying Couchsurfing is that for some trips (like work trips), if I can keep costs low, it means more of that budget can go towards the actual work we’re doing.

In my case, that’s rewilding projects - so anything saved on logistics is more that can go back into nature.

That said, I’m not here just looking for a free place to stay - I’m genuinely interested in the human side of travel and the experience of sharing space with good people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Help a wildlife photographer capture shots of a not-yet-identified species of tarantula deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak a few languages and enjoy learning how different people see the world.

Happy to share things like:
• freediving / breathwork basics
• rope flow
• training / movement habits
• some light tech help if useful

I’ve also spent a good amount of time exploring philosophy, spirituality and personal development - so always up for those kinds of conversations if that’s your thing.

Equally, I’m very easy going - happy to keep things light or just share quiet space.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share with hosts
• Good energy and genuine respect for your home
• Stories from travelling and working in rewilding projects
• A meal, help with something practical, or just easy company

If you’re up for it, I’m always keen for a bit of adventure too - whether that’s exploring, training, getting in the water, or just doing something a bit different.

And if not, I’m equally happy keeping things simple and low key.
