Hey fellow Couchsurfer! :)

I'm Nico and currently working as a photographer and videographer, with some freelancing in-between. Besides that, I generally love being outside, be it running, hiking or flying.

I used Couchsurfing for the first time during my backpacking trip through Norway. Since then, I always knew, that once I'll get the chance, I will host as well. Now that I live in a big apartment, I'm more than happy to make good use of the space we have.

I'm always trying to spend some time with my surfers, be it showing them the city, going for a hike, swimming in the river or just enjoying a cold beer together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am fascinated by the Couchsurfing community and the idea of giving without expecting anything in return. All based by trusting, that others do the same.

To me, the thought of giving a traveler a piece of home is humbling, and I love getting to know people from all around the world, where I can hopefully visit them one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Learning to fly!
- Climbed the highest volcano of Europe during the night to watch the sunrise surrounded by nothing but clouds, the ocean and hot air coming from below.
