About Me

From being my daddy's sperm to being packed in an urn
I'm a child. Loving nature, art, music, food & animals in equal quantity since 95.
My mind is stuck in 70s.

Born and raised in Slovakia. At the age of 18 I decided to go and try to live on my own in England and teach foreign children English. It worked out and apart from the unbelievable feeling of giving children a chance to succeed in their lives it also gives me plenty of school holidays and chances to explore, wander and meet new folks.

Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new interesting people and see their country through their point of view.

Interests

I am very keen on nature and hiking, which is very common for people from Slovakia. I also love drawing and one day I'd love to become an apprentice in a tattoo shop.
Food is one of my obsessions whether it means cooking it or eating it :)
I am a vegetarian and a huge animal lover and animal rights fighter. Though I won't try to persuade you to stop eating meat, it's not my business what you eat, no worries :)
I enjoy my job and it shaped my personality over those three years. I love sharing my ideas, inspiring and motivating people and actually teaching in general, especially looking for new ways of teaching my non-english speaking students.
Ukulele became my very close friend lately when I received this beautiful gift for Christmas, but my fingers keep failing on me so finding someone who can play a string instrument would be a huge positive! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore music of almost all genres and I am certainly not the type who would judge a person against their taste in music. I personally prefer reggae, dub, ska, rock, folk, electronic, classical, indie, rock n roll oh and last but not least 60s/70s psychadelic rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved from my parents when I was 18 and started a life on my own without their support.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happiness is only real when shared. Teach me your way of staying positive and happy and I'll give you mine :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately here in England I live in an area that is not very attractive for tourists to see (but I can show you Sherwood Forest, York or Lake District if you'd like)
When you catch me in Slovakia over summer holiday I'd show you our magnificent mountains and lovely places with lots of stories. Or take you to some festivals if you'd fancy that, especially Uprising Festival :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
