About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to kick of some nice projects that kill the 'sourness' in society, be there for my friends, and enjoy all the things I do as much as possible

ABOUT ME

27. Living in Brussels, a city that I'm passionate about. Travelled more than 30 times in Europe in the last 5 years. Left my continent only once so far (one month in South-America). Soon going to fly transatlantic again.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep your mind like a parachute: open, otherwise it doesn't work.

We're all amateurs, before we become experts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a host and city guide from time to time. Did some surfing already (and want to do more!), and am promoting the organisation to friends and in the media (e.g. a a Brussels Blog where I'm journalist).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed many times at many friends' sofas around Europe. And my home has always been open to friends, and friends of friends. Now I think that I'll extend the concept through CS.

Interests

Reading (preferably books containing rich ideas, mixed with reality feeling and imagination); webdesign (combining beauty with usability); politics (it's our society - be at least informed and participate); running (one needs to stay fit, and it's great to give the mind some rest); cooking (oh, creativity together with nutritionaly constraints - a nice problem to solve) and so much more...

Music, Movies, and Books

Things that mind has to 'process' afterwards, things to (mentally) chew on get my preference. But that doesn't mean that I cannot enjoy a good comedy or well-written paperback.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot, but still to few... Ask me more about it when we'll talk. Machu Picchu is still one of the most impressive things I've seen, though.

Teach, Learn, Share

webdesign: usability studies. Organising events: a project management approach. Personality analysis: MBTI and coaching. Writing texts: how to make them read. Cooking: some flemish classics.

Countries I’ve Visited

Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Peru, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Denmark, Germany
