ABOUT ME

I'm a doctoral student studying computational biology (and dreaming of traveling) when I'm at home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I brew my own beer, go on long distance bike rides, play board games, and live with my girlfriend and our very social cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been as active as I'd like to be due to an erratic work schedule. Several years ago I surfed a few times while traveling. The hosting I've done has mostly been through Couchsurfing's bicycle tourist parallel, Warm Showers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past I've been able to participate in meetups and I've surfed a couple of times while traveling. I have been more involved in Warm Showers (couch surfing for people touring on bicycle) lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've biked and camped all around Iceland- lot of moss covered lava rock, almost no trees, brutal wind. It was awesome.
