Hey! I'm Nicol Nijssen, a student at Maastricht University with it's campus located in Venlo. Some time ago I studied a semester abroad in Sweden (Umeå), and this experience showed me how amazing traveling can be. My next big travel will be next year, as I hope to do my internship in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My time abroad really made me want to meet more people from all over the world! I'd love to see places though the eyes of locals and learn more about their culture and way of living. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do that!

Currently, I am living in Venlo. It's not a big city, but really nice and cozy! I would love showing you around. If you want to explore on your own, you could rent a bike. By bike it is only 15 minutes to Germany. So, kill two birds with one stone ;)
