About Me

I am a Master's student in Intercultural Communication and European Studies in Germany. When I have the possibility I try to travel to new and also well known places to meet people, start conversations, make new friends , devolp new insights and ideas, enjoy good food... to explore and to learn.

I am currently working as an intern in Hanover and I will finally be back to Fulda in November!

I would discribe myself as an easy-going and open-minded person, who is looking for new impressions and perspecives wherever I am. I am a fan of never-ending conversations, chilled evenings with board or cardgames, learning and sharing languages, recipes and more experiences

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Arriving in a new place is starting a new adventure. I am an absolute freshgirl at couchsurfing but generally I always loved meeting locals and to hear their stories and secrets about a place while travelling :) I think this is why I am here :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really passionate about almost all kinds of books! One example is Mornings in Jenin, written by Susan Abulhawa.
For music I like Indiemusic as The Kills, Mando Diao Phoenix, Passion Pit, Blood Red Shoes...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A single drop abseil of 204m down the Maletsunyane Falls in Lesotho is definetly one experience I will never forget.

But also hiking in Serra da Estrela, Portugal or discovering temples in Thebes, Egypt or trying local food in Bangkok or just lying on a beautiful beach with a good book are (only some of many) experiences, that I am glad to not have missed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to exchange any kind of language skills! So far I can share German, English and French and I am currently trying to learn some Créole :) As I am a very passionate foodie, I really enjoy cooking and eating together. And I love to try local dishes and to come home with some new recipes.
