Seriously, I really like to talk about almost everything. It's always interesting to get insights in things that are important to others. There are so many ways to live a life and we can only experience one, but we can hopefully share a bit of the life of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did couchsurfing in Northern Finland with a friend and it was a really good experience. The Finland experience gave me the courage to use couchsurfing on my way by bicycle from Basel, Switzerland to Belgrade to attend at a friend's wedding. It was amazing. Hostels are hostels but hosts are persons and can be really inspiring.

I play field-hockey in the highest Swiss leage (which is still not professional), play the guitar every day, began recently with archery but then had to find out that it's tough to find the time for everything.
Also I'm organizing free walking tours in my hometown Basel. I enjoy meeting travellers and sharing my knowledge with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'd say I'm a progressive metaller. I listen a lot to metal but also love the 70ties progressive rock, post-rock, trip-hop and alternative rock.
Movies: Sci-Fi and some more thoughfull movies. I recently discovered that there is a lot creativity to find in the field of short movies.
To most important writer to me is Hermann Hesse. He influenced my a lot. Apart from that I like the Sci-Fi genre.
