Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Nicola and I love to travel! I have been away on and off for around 5 years and visited close to 38 countries. I love music and people! I have a passion for film and the arts. I love meeting new people and sharing interests.
I enjoy trekking and have completed some beautiful walks and adventures all around the world. In Bristol I am a teacher for disengaged 16-18 year olds (which is challenging but also fun as I mainly get to edit and make hip hop videos all day!).
I enjoy poetry and write spoken word and enjoy being involved in and making music. I love all sorts of music but have a huge passion for Drum n Bass, Hip Hop and Breaks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After the travelling the world on and off for 5 years I have decided that the best way to get to know a country is by spending time with locals. I want to go off the beaten track and spend time learning about culture and how different communities live and not in hostel with other back packers.
Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to even list!!!!!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I´m not really sure if I have done anything amazing - but as a teacher I have helped over 800 young people find employment.
I have also written a full diary about all of my travels which was a gift to everyone I met when I was away
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my passion for travelling and how to move around the world on a budget. I am friendly and willing to help around the house. I love cooking and can offer some wine, food. I like making music with people and can share writing poetry and stories.
