Overview
About Me
I live in San Benedetto Val di Sambro (Italy), a small village on the Appennines, just between Bologna (40 minutes by car) and Firenze (50 minutes by car).
My apartement is 3 chilometers far from the famous "Via degli Dei", the ancient roman road that connect Bologna and Firenze. You can find more information here: http://www.viadeglidei.it/index.php?lang=en .
You can reach both Bologna and Firenze easily by car, the highway is 10 minutes far, or by regional train. The railway station (San Benedetto Sambro - Castiglione dei Pepoli) is 15 minutes far by car/bus.
In San Benedetto you can find a lot of wild animals, beatiful landscapes, forests and a very clean and fresh air.
I graduated from the University of Bologna with a degree in Energy Engineering.
I like to do sports and outdoor activity. I play tennis twice a week and from October till the end of May I do a Tennis course with a federal teacher. Sometimes I do swimming or I play football or basketball with friends.
I take care of our family property, in particular I take care of fruit plants and of our chestnuts cultivation.
I also take care about 30 plants of raspberries and blueberries.
Sometimes I help my father with his 20 beehives. We collect a great quality honey.
I have a cat, her name is Maia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and see new places.
I would like to know new people from all over the World, talking about our customs and traditions and maybe try their typical food.
Last but not least, i would like to drink a good beer togheter.
Since my parents moved to a new house, I live alone in the old apartment. The couch is a private room with a double bed and a private bathroom, plus a single bed free in my room.
