About Me
Hi! :) I come from a small region in northern Italy, and after some years spent in Venice for uni I'm now back home, working as a librarian in a village. I really love my job, the only problem with it is that it doesn't allow me the same amount of time for travelling that I had in other periods in the past
When you travel for a longer time on a slow pace sooner or later you end up meeting new interesting people, but if you are only spending few days somewhere during your "leaves" (using this word makes me feel oddly adult ahaha) it's a bit less likely... Getting hosted by someone there through CS is a way to be sure you'll get in touch with someone local anyways! :)
Also, since I'm now more settled home than in the past, I'm looking forward to host travellers at my place, to give back some of the hospitality that I received in the past and to keep getting in touch with people of the world.
About me, I'm a really adaptable and patient person, always seeing the point in everyone opinion and position.
I try to have many hobbies, but what I like the most is reading and literature, and also exploring, hiking and being in nature.
At home for longer terms I also sometimes host people through HelpX and Workaway! You can check my host listing:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first used it during a bike trip in the Netherlands with a friend, and after that I kept surfing now and then during my trips, always getting the chance to meet nice, interesting and expecially various kind of people. It's a great way to get out of your usual bubble and meet people you wouldn't ever get to know otherwise.
