About Me

Language enthusiast, music lover, guitar player, book addicted, wine sipper. I'm a cosmopolitan soul trapped in an Italian passport, crossing the national borders every time I can and my energy is fuelled meeting inspiring people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had heard some really inspiring stories about this community before I joined it. Never regretted it! I've met many kind couchsurfers while travelling and got to see many places through the privileged perspective of the locals. I couldn't ask for more!

Right now I can't host at my place, but I'm always up to meeting up and spending some time giving all the tips I can about the surroundings and sharing a glass of wine or any alcohol-free beverage :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Rather eclectic when it comes to music, as long as it's analogical. I need to hear strings vibrating and some human mistakes while playing to feel home :) I used to be a metalhead back in the day, now I enjoy everything ranging from blues to bluegrass, jazz, classical music, folk, world music, and rock.

Though not much into films, I would never say no to rewatching anything by Monty Pythons! Talking about tv series: The Monty Python's Flying Circus (again), The IT Crowd, and Black Books (I can hardly think of anyone funnier than Dylan Moran) are the ones that I enjoy the most.

As an omnivorous reader, I read anything that piques my curiosity. Anyway, should I pick an author, I'd go for Sergej Dovlatov (I love Russian literature from the Soviet era!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been through fantastic moments as many others have (exploring the bioluminescent bay in Vieques - Puerto Rico at night was quite impressive), but I think beating a tumor was a pretty amazing thing to tick. I feel quite blessed to be here writing it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some culinary expertise and teach you some Italian recipes! Also, I love playing the guitar and I seize any chance to jam or share what I can play :) Up to teaching and learning anything in any language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not being much of a party guy, I really enjoy deep conversations, sharing points of view about life, experiences, places to visit, authors to read, music and so on. I'm also very happy to play music or jam with my hosts if the neighbours don't mind!

Countries I’ve Visited
