I am a 22 year old swiss guy who lives near Basel.
I would consider myself as a more introverted person but I also love to meet new people and from connections ...(I know this doesn't quite fit with beeing introverted)
I am super quiet and a great listener in a large group. Where I shine is a 1:1 situation. Then I can open up and tell my stories :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now, I am looking for people in the south of france and Barcelona. I will to a bicycle tour in July. I feel like travelling this way is so much fun. You really have to put effort into your journey. And the reward is just amazing.
Meeting locals and experiencing their cultures is the best thing. And yes, you are defenetly welcome at my home in switzerland....

Music, Movies, and Books

I love 70s and 80s Music. Anything that isn't playing on the radio honestly :)
If we meet somewhere and there is a chill concert to go to. Take me there (of if you are visiting my place, I will go with you)

Reading is just sooo nice and calming for me. I read mostly classics at the moment. George Orwell and H.G. Wells are my favourite writers.

And I like to watch a very specific type of movie on Netflix or YouTube the most: Travel films or documentaries
But I am open for all kind of movies as long as it is not romance...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being on this platform and meeting new and interesting people.
Last year in July, I was on a bicycle trip from my home trough switzerland and Italy. I mostly slept in my tent on the side of the road (yes, it was very uncomfortable) This was a strange exerience for sure.
In the cities, mainly Milano, Pisa and Sienna, I met new people from this platform. I stayed with them and all were so nice and respectful.
The whole thing was honestly so life changing for me. hahah

So anyways, I plan on doing a tour again. This time to the south of france and Barcelona.
