About Me
I'm a 19 year-old student from Montreal who just started university, and left it two months later. I decided I wanted to open my mind to the world, to start learning about its people, its cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am creating this account for my first-ever trip travelling alone, in Southeast Asia. Pretty much my first time travelling for real, actually.
I love meeting new people, and I absolutely love learning and sharing. I believe the best way to get to know a culture or a place is by interacting directly with the people who know it best!
I am here to discover the world!!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music :
I grew up to my parents' classic rock and progressive rock : Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Simon and Garfunkel, and many others
Lately, I am discovering Jazz music and it's changing my life : Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck, Dizzie Gillespie, George Gershwin, ...
Movies :
From children's movies to Pulp Fiction
Books :
From the Harry Potter series to Albert Camus and Jean-Paul Sartre
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Is it amazing or is it stupid - I don't know yet. But I did leave school without finishing my semester and buy a one-way plane ticket to Bangkok!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning. If we share a passion or interest, I will be glad to discuss and exchange. If you have a passion that I don't know much about, I'll listen to you as passionately as you speak about it! Music, sports, culture, a language, cooking, travelling... anything!
Personally, I love to play music (drums, piano, guitar and ukulele).
I am also into sports, like soccer, hockey, snowboarding, cycling, badminton and others.
I mostly speak French and English, I can have a conversation in Italian and I know the rudiments of Spanish. I love learning new languages, especially Asian ones, because they are so different from the ones I know!
