ABOUT ME

These bits always sound cringe worthy so here is my attempt to sound really fun without being too cheesy!
I am 22 years old and recently graduated from The University of Manchester. All I have wanted to do since uni is travel. I am fun, spontaneous and easy going. I love going out and exploring new places but also love being at home in my rural village with my five brothers and sisters!
This is my first proper travelling experience, our journey is New York - Washington DC - New Orleans - Austin, Texas - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon/Yellowstone/Mt Rushmore - LA - San Francisco - Chicago via California Zephyr train - Nashville - Louisville - Chicago - New York - Niagara Falls - London! I am going with my best friend and we hope to see and do as much as possible in 6 weeks!
When I return I hope to go into teaching, I am passionate about education and it being equal and accessible for all (I protested against the rise in tuition fees in London). I am thinking about going to teach english as a foreign language and helping children that don't have the same access to it as children in the UK.

Interests

My main interests are travelling, although I have not had the chance to travel much as I went straight to University from school. This trip will be my first proper travelling experience! I love reading, I read all time and pretty much anything, my favourite author is Martina Cole. I love going out, to gigs, clubs or to restaurants. Another main interest is cooking! I love to cook and if you host me I can promise you an amazing Spaghetti Bolognese!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, particularly anything that is considered uncool! I love dancing (not that I am any good!) and listening to any music live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to university was the best experience of my life. leaving the comfort of a tiny rural village to go explore and live in a big city is the reason I want to travel and see new places.
