Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student and researcher in a bioinformatics group, which I really enjoy.
I am a calm person, but I can turn into a party animal once in a while, when enough motivation has accumulated. I don't plan ahead much, I prefer to play it by ear. I don't like self-portrayal, which is why my texts are rather short.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing for meeting open-minded people and especially locals. That's the spice in my travelling-soup. ;)
Interests
I like doing sports, which means mainly swimming currently. I also enjoy riding the racing bike, parcour, sports trampoline and capoeira, but I don't have enough time for that at the moment. I enjoy spending time with my family and with friends or reading in my spare time. I like good food, but my own cooking usually doesn't go beyond noodles with veggies and tomato sauce. And I like travelling, which means mainly backpacking.

I can teach you how to be always late. I'm really good at that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some stories from my trips. But I have a horribly bad memory, don't expect me to remember names of places or numbers or anything of that sort ;) In case your wondering now how I can be a PhD student with my bad memory, I am wondering myself and I don't have an answer.
