Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love the couchsurfing community! Everyone I meet is so open and giving and it just feels like I have found my people.

I love meeting people and having conversations and I think every person can teach you something. Be open minded and don't judge and the world becomes so much bigger and more beautiful :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked 900km across Spain. Worked on the production line in a fridge factory in rural Australia. Got stuck in a traffic jam in a Texan oil field. Floated under the stars with fireflies in a hidden freshwater spring in Texas. Sheltered from a thunderstorm in the New Mexico desert with a Dutchman. Climbed Sydney harbour bridge. Sold everything I own... Three times. Watched giant turtles lay their eggs on a Malaysian beach at sunrise. Started a business. Spoke at a conference to 1000 people. ...managed to build a (semi) legitimate career out of an Art degree :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty passionate about minimalist living and I can't help but be a nomad (even if I try to stay put). I have done a lot of solo travel and love to hear and share stories about the world! And recommendations... I have them and I want yours 🙃

I work as a product designer in tech, so I love conversations about design, technology, the future, ethics, the social implications of what we make!

I am also fascinated with religions and traditions of all kinds. I love to learn about different beliefs because I think there is so much wisdom carried in each. If you're open to sharing your beliefs with me I'd love to learn.
