Hi there! From England, currently travelling Australia by bar tending, waitressing and taking opportunities as they come to me. I am easy to get on with, friendly and considerate. I'm a pretty relaxed, unassuming kind of person, but can also be pretty extroverted, depends on the company and situation.

I think it is a much better way for me to get to know a place than staying in hostels. I love meeting new people, and learning about them and their perspectives. I am particularly looking for someone that would consider showing me around, but I understand people have busy lives!

Interesses

I love writing, and so far have accumulated so many pages of notes and scribbles on napkins that are inspired by my travels. Hoping to write something more coherent soon!

I'm basically interested in people and how we communicate/think/feel. I studied English Language at uni, and am fascinated by how we use words in different ways. I'll probably want to learn all of your slang ;). I'm not sure what 'career' I want in the future, but I'm hoping some more travelling and life-living will help me suss it out. Maybe something like language teaching, or social work, or maybe I'll invest in some really good feathers and become part-peacock-part-burlesque dancer. I dunno.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love playing ukulele, singing and writing songs. My music taste is varied, but anything chilled out or a bit funky please. My I pod has a lot of Ben Howard, Daughter, Radiohead, as well as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson. Music is one of my favourite topics, I will waffle on for ages. I love films, but don't ask me to name any actors or actresses. I'm always talking about 'that film, you know the one, with that guy in it!'.

I'll read anything that has weird and interesting characters, intriguing prose or that's a little controversial/'saucy'.
