ABOUT ME

I have an eclectic taste for life - I love to try new experiences - new food, new places, new adventures.
I intentionally resist becoming a "creature of habit" in whatever I do.
I may spend weeks planning one trip or I may spontaneously "pack up and go" on another.
I greatly enjoy the company of interesting and exciting people - but also am quite comfortable spending time alone with a good book.
I am as at home in a mud hut as I am in a palace, as comfortable in blue jeans as an evening gown, and as happy with a home-brewed pint as a vintage Bordeaux.
I love the mountains but miss the ocean.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ok I am officially hooked. I have met and/or stayed with a variety of surfers on my travels and have welcomed others into my home. Every experience so far has taught me something new - not only about other places and people, but more importantly about myself.

Interests

I have an interesting and unique collection of musical instruments from around the world. With the exception of the drums (and my llama shepherd's horn) I would not claim to be able to play any of them but they are a wonderful reminder of how different yet similar we all are!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Air, fire, earth and water - I have had adventures with all: Soaring on a hang glider, walking barefoot through burning embers, hiking to the top of mountains or diving with sharks.
Although my adventures are somewhat tamer these days I am always up for new challenges and have many more places yet to explore!
