About Me

I have started travelling alone or with just one mate for one year. Now, I'm looking at any opportunities to travel mainly into Europe because there are so much undescriptible landscapes on our continent.

I'm a young belgian student, 21y. I spent most of my time in Louvain-La-Neuve where I was studying but next year I'll be studying in Montreal. When I come back home, I share my time between sport and family. I've started basketball since 2014, and recently I accomplished my first triathlon. The rest of the time I enjoy the nature alone or with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I let down the five stars hostel resort ect. That wasn't real holidays, enjoying a swimming pool and eating as much as possibe sucks, looking from my new perspective. So, I'd like to enjoy more "real" trip, where anything is possible, wherein you can meet new people and hang out or learn from them.

It's much more interesting to talk with local people and getting back home with precious memories than with an instagrammable picture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently I read "Born to run" which tell a story but also scientifics facts about running and how we changed in millions of years. It give the desire to learn how to run naturally.

And also "Les relations secrètes de la nature" from Peter Wohlleben. He desribes mysterious relations between animals and plants and how fast can change an ecosystem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With a friend we went to Latvia and decided to do a two days raid by canoe in the national park of Sigulda. However, we hadn't our tent to sleep, so we stopped on the river's bank and started building our own shelter with natural raw materials.

We slept there, in fact I couldn't sleep because I heard so much noises, including wolf's howling and moose's slab.

That was a tough night...
