About Me

Social guy from Norway with a passion for the environment, science and truly connecting with people across cultures. Love to learn about why people and society are the way they are, and a firm believer that mutual understanding and dialogue can make most things work! Easy-going, flexible, eager to host or be hosted, cook meals or buy a round. Send me a message and let's see if we can connect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had such great experiences both hosting and being hosted on Couchsurfing, it's truly one of the greatest ways to experience new places and people. Once you've couchsurfed, it truly makes a difference to how you perceive travel. I also love telling other people about the great experiences from Couchsurfing, so that is also a nice bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books

All music that is guitar driven is probably already in my folder! As for anything else: if it sounds good, it's probably good. I'm open-minded there. Love music though, and I have special playlists for whenever people recommend me stuff that they think is the greatest stuff ever. It's becoming a long list by now. Thankfully!

Mockumentaries and nature documentaries are the greatest imo, but I'm easily fascinated by alot of things - but not that big on TV shows these days. Movies with 8.0 or more on iMDB is an instant "yes" though.

Hitchhikers Guide is pretty hilarious and mind blowing. Erlend Loe and Lars Saabye Christensen are some Norwegian authors I'd highly recommend as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I got 2400 likes on a comment on Facebook. Haven't peaked like that in ages.

Music, science and an open mind on politics.
