It's my first time here on couchsurfing.com, so I hope I'm doing things right !

It's not the first time I'm traveling, though. I visited several European countries and I've been living a couple times abroad, in Montreal, Canada, and Seoul, South Korea. Each time it was a real joy to be able to meet local residents, to share cultures, tips, ideas and often a few drinks ;)

I work in the Music field, more precisely I'm a production manager for several music festivals in France. It means I'm part of the team that deals with a lot of different tasks on such events : hiring artists and technicians, managing ticketing, communication, public and institutional relationships, partnerships...
So yeah, as you might have already guess, I like music a lot ! I'm basically into Rock, in a very, very large definition, from early 60's to most recent indie. I actually had a Power Pop band for a while a few years ago !
I also opened up to electronic musics, also on a very large scale, but definitely not EDM. I happen to Dj for parties in Nantes, from time to time.

Music isn't my only interest ! I'm really curious and I usually enjoy going to check out this new thing I've just heard about. It may be a new venue, a new bar, a new gallery, a new show... So yeah, I like going out a lot !
I'm also into testing as much local food as I can during my trips ! To my own surprise, I happen to be a "Ok +" cook and I really enjoy a lot cooking for others and having a good time chatting around a good meal (with a good wine, that's a serious plus ! ;) )

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This time, I'll be traveling through the USA during 3 months with 2 lovely and funny friends : Hélène and Alizée !

Hélène has been living in Australia for a year before moving to Ireland. She is a Fashion Designer with a speciality for bags in leather. She's dreaming to play and sing Wonderwall from the band Oasis, while sitting by a campfire on a beach. And she's really good at making the kind of joke you're not expecting ;)
She is the blond one you can see in my pics.

Alizée is a Graphic Designer, currently living in Paris. She's always full of energy and you can tell when you see her showing off her best moves while dancing Hip Hop ! I think her secret dream would be to meet Céline Dion when we'll be visiting Las Vegas, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to tell it... Also, she's always up for anything :)
She is the brunette, still in my pics if you wanna have a look !

We'll be traveling from San Francisco to Miami, going through Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Tampa... and many more !
What we want the more is to meet as many people as we can, other travelers and local inhabitants, getting to know and understand the American culture and way of life better than what we perceive through movies and series ;)

We'd like to hear your stories and tell you ours, listen to your tips and give you ours, and if on top of that we can surf your couch one night or two, that would be perfect ! :)
