I think I'm a rather quiet guy at the first look but as soon as I get a little bit warm with the situation I really enjoy being together with other people talking, joking, discussing etc.

I’m currently trying to surf around Australia and as soon as I'm back in Germany we'll see if there are people interested in visiting my flat in Hannover :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My past is rather boring in terms of traveling. Actually this February it's the first time I try to travel this way in Australia. So I'm pretty excited how well this will work for me. In any case I'm looking forward to meeting lots of nice people.

Interests

I'm a student of media management, therefore I'm quite interested in all that tech and media stuff out there. In school I started building web sites and now I earn some extra money with it alongside my studies to finance some 'luxury' like my trip to Australia this February/March.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is pretty indifferent, I guess. On my iPod you can find all kinds of musik from Ray Charles, Metallica, The Cat Empire, Mumford & Sons and Asaf Avidan to Woodkid, Muse, Ben Harper, Santana or The BossHoss.

I enjoy going to cinema as often as I can afford it and I actually have to admit that I somewhat like all those hollywood popcorn movies. Anyway, some of my all-time favorites are Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Big Lebowski, The Insider & The Silence of the Lambs.

I enjoy reading and writing but often don't get managed to read entire books in my everyday life. Instead I read lots of online articles on my Kindle and regularly visit a bunch of different blogs. I should read more books though, I know...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2012 I was traveling in Norway. We had a car and just drove with no certain plans in mind. One evening we arrived at Molde and looked for a place where we could park the car to sleep in it. Doing so we encountered one of those 'there's something you should really see' signs. We didn't actually get where it would lead us but just followed the arrows up a hill. The street got worse with every meter but we didn't give up until we finally arrived at the top of the hill. Right in this moment there was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen. In front of us the sun disappeared between the mountains and behind us the fjord blurred into the darkness.
