Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey! My name is Nicolas, or Nic for short!
I grew up within a fairly nomadic home. I was born on the east coast, moved to the midwest, grew up on the west coast then lived in Japan before returning back to Seattle Washington!
My love for music lead me into working in radio, where I worked events and began doing audio production. After my last contract was up for a morning show I worked for, I decided I would attempt to circumnavigate the globe and experience the places I've dreamed of going since my youth. Now here I am!
I am also in love with riding motorcycles. There's something about taking a two-wheeled adventure that keeps you more in-tune with your environment than most other forms of transportation. Also if you play chess, I would thoroughly enjoy a match with you!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I've had a few friends recommend couchsurfing saying it's their favorite way to travel. Hopping from place to place you tend to fall into the obvious tourist attractions, so I'm hoping to see more about how locals live!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I love music and jamming with other people! I've played bass guitar in a handful of bands throughout my life and feel at home when holding down the groove. I also enjoy playing guitar and poorly attempting other instruments.
I try to listen to a little bit of everything, but I would have to say my heart lies with blues and rock. I love talking about music so beware if you get me going :D
I'm usually not one to sit in front of a TV for very long, but some of my favorite flicks are Snatch, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, and Dirty Harry.
I'm generally a slow reader, but there's not many things more gratifying than completing a good book. I recently read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Slaughterhouse 5, and am currently reading On The Road by Jack Kerouac.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I once unintentionally caught a cupcake in my mouth while yelling for a friend about 4 meters away. He chucked it perfectly and I don't know if anything will ever be as gratifying as that.
