About Me
A Frenchman by nationality, I spent the first four years of my adult life obtaining a bachelors degree in history in Montreal, Canada. During this time, I worked as a cook in a great number of restaurants (french, greek, italian, portuguese), so i'm fairly well acquainted with the culinary arts. Today I am back in Europe, working on a masters degree in international relations in Belgium.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The good thing about couchsurfing as opposed to, say, staying at a hotel, is that by the time you leave, you are fairly acquainted with the local society and culture, and you may even have developed a sense of belonging. For this reason even if I stay at a hotel, which obviously tends to be more comfortable, I always try and meet up with some local couchsurfers.
