Overview
About Me
I'm an engineer working in Le Bourget at the French Air Safety Investigation Authority (I carry out investigations regarding aircraft's incidents and accidents).
I moved in Paris in June 2016 (after moving from my previous position).
I'm also a reservist for the well-known "Gendarmerie", which means that I'm basically a policeman 30 days a year. ;-)
I moved a lot during my childhood; I know a lot of different places in France. Since I live here for 3 years, I know quite well Paris area even if I didn't grow up here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to make new friends, to know different cultures and to speak in English!
As a host, I can't wait to visit Paris with non-Parisian people!
I haven't thought about the possibility of using the site as a guest yet.
Interests
First of all, I like to travel, so I'm often out of my place. I love to travel abroad, usually for trips to 2 for 4 weeks. My last trip abroad was in Thailand in November 2013 (yes, it's been a long time and I can't wait to leave France again).
I like going out in Paris with my friends, at their place or in bars or restaurants.
Since I need to be in shape for my "gendarmerie" activities, I go running in Parisian parks or near Paris - but no worries, I'm not a marathon runner!
I suscribed to Paris opera, so I often go to see some classical operas in Paris.
I usually go to the cinema as well.
I also appreciate relaxing moments at home watching a movie lying on my couch! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mmmmh, nothing outstanding, but when I was 9, I harvested molten lava with a piece of wood during the eruption of the "Piton de la Fournaise" in Reunion Island. The lava river had cut off the road, so it was pretty accessible! =)
