Young cook, passionate and thirsty for knowledge. I was born and grew up on a vegetable farm (fruits and vegetables). I live in Quebec for a few years and I work in a restaurant. I love testing and discovering new things about cooking. (I like to make my own beer, cider, cheese, kombutcha, bread ...) I love to spend the evening in good company around a good meal and a good wine or why not a good gin! (I have a weakness for gin Quebecois, and it will be a pleasure to introduce you to it;))

I’m actually travelling in Europe 🛤🛫🌃. So I can’t host anyone for the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I go on a trip for a few months in Europe with a friend. CS seems to be a great way to discover and learn about a place by the people who live there. It will be a pleasure to return the other side of the coin when I return! .

Interests

Outside the kitchen, I love the outdoors and nature. Having grown up on a farm I have always loved to grow things. I practice several outdoor sports such as hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or biking. I would like to practice more water sports such as kayaking or canoeing. I also like music. She accompanies me wherever I go. On the other hand, what I like most of all, are the evenings in good company, in which the discussions flow afloat, laughter are omnipresent and good food is in the spotlight. I am the kind of simple guy who likes to laugh and laugh and who does not miss an opportunity to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music, my taste varies over the seasons and my mood. Going through indie and folk I fly over rock, jazz, progressive, classical, alternative and even a little punk on occasion. My favorite bands are Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Arcade Fire, Redneck Bluegrass Project, Supertramp, Cat Empire, Half moon run...
I like the movies and hard to deny my affection for the trilogy of the middle earth. Otherwise classics like Spielberg, Nolan, Tarantino, Scorsese, Anderson will always make me happy. I am not a great reader, except for the lords of the rings, Don Quixote and the little prince, I do not have much book to my credit.
