About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting inspired & getting my white shirts white again...

ABOUT ME

First things first I really wanna see something of the world I am born to live in. I wanna get to know it in the small but also in the large scale.

I am pretty much of the time up in my head and that's okay sometimes but I also want to learn how to loose myself in a moment or in my surroundings.

I acknowledge that happiness is a state of mind but also that not everything is alright in the world and there are so many things to get upset about. And I am working on resolving this maybe unresolvable conflict and write some songs in the progress.

So yeah, I am a musician. I always say that I've been playing guitar for five years though it's probably been about six. Somewhere along the line I also picked up the Bass Guitar for a couple of reasons.

Recently I also started diving into making music with my laptop. That includes sounddesign, recording some parts, type in some others and even trying to mix it. But there is still a lot I have to learn and some ambition I have to loose before it'll sound good.

And now for the finish some one-liners:
1. I am more of a dancer than a drinker.
2. I can get excited about pretty much any activity or inactivity.
3. I like to think that I am open-minded.

I think actually there's some more but firstly I can't think of a way of saying it and secondly you've probably read enough.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the only meaning life has is the one you yourself give it (especially since most of us have become very little cog wheels in this big machine called civilisation).

But no, I am not a pessimist. There's too much for me to be thankful for. And anyway the question isn't: Is the glass half empty or half full? But, who drank the other half of my drink and do I have to pay for the whole drink?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I'm still travelling. But when I'm home again I will be glad to have a coffee, chat and help anybody who decides to visit Zurich as far as my schedule allows it. Unfortunatly I am not in possession of any couch to offer yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While travelling we (my girlfriend and me) met this guy, now our friend, from Istanbul in Venice and met up with him in his hometown again. He recommended to us if we would go up to Prague to look up a friend of his called Werni. So we did and in the end he was our first Couchsurfinghost. And we thought it was such an enjoyable experience to try doing again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Apart from all the great things I shared with my grilfriend, particularly memorable experiences are some waves I've ridden (though I'm not a good surfer yet), some concerts I've played, when the songs I wrote came from theory into being and of course a lot of the things I've experienced on this trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in pretty much anything but also what fascinates somebody else and why.

I can tell you a whole lot about music. And I have some scatterd knowledge of ancient greek mythology.
