Overview
About Me
I am Nicolas, I was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1980. I am also an Italian citizen. I studied architecture and city planning for three years before deciding to change track and focus on my passion for audiovisual communication.
I am a photographer and work in the audiovisual sector. Since 2008 I have been working within the camera team as a freelancer on a great variety of audiovisual productions; Video art, Cinema, Television and publicity.
I am interested in different forms of artistic expression, i have participated in various workshops related to photography and Theater. From 2005 til 2008 i worked in a theatre company. I have also held the position of cultural coordinator “ Centro Cultural El Galpón de Tolosa” in La Plata.
In Madrid i make sure of my free time participating in a community garden (see video) and learning the `cajon Flamenco`.

Interests
I live for photography, over the last few months i have been experimenting with analog photography; developing and amplifying photographs ( general photo lab processes). I enjoy group activities, working as part of a collective but also some alone time. Currently i am participating in an urban community garde, where i have learned about planning and skills needed when growing vegetables, as well as the meeting and events related to the surrounding community. I enjoy working with my hands, here is Spain they call me a bit of a handy man as often repaired and modify objects and appliances. I enjoy working with with and soldering metals. I have a love hate relationship with computers. I am well versed in using applications for editing photos, such as Photoshop, Adobe Premier and Auto-Cad among others. Rugby is my sport, I played from 7 till 22, while now I enjoy cycling and hiking in the mountains.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I like reading, visiting museums, going to the cinema, and talking about politics. My plan for 2019 is to travel more get to know this new continent, where i have never been before, submerge myself in new cultures and learn new languages. I want to improve my English, which currently is at a very basic level. Currently i speak Spanish and Portuguese. I love to listen to music, all styles are welcome, and i am always open to hearing new things. The last few months i have been learning the `cajon Flamenco` and also participate in a Brazilian Samba drum group.
During 2017, I travelled aroud the united kingdom. I volunteered through work away in some private homes and farm projects, in London and rural Wales.
Right now i a ready for a new adventure, and Turkey will be my next destination.
