ABOUT ME
I'm a global citizen with a penchant for spirituality. We all have experiences and stories to share that have the potential to enrich one's life. I love meeting people from all walks of life, from the curious nomad to the loving homemaker I cherish all encounters.
Furthermore, I went to hotel school so I come in very handy: I know how to do dishes, iron shirts, make a bed and cook great meals!
Cooking is a big passion of mine, a like to blend different cultural tastes to create an explosion of flavor that will leave you delectably delighted!
Lastly, I like to philosophize on Life's biggest questions and with the help of other people's input, find the answers.
Idealism is pretty much my motto in life.
PHILOSOPHY
We are not physical beings having a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a physical experience.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. - Greek proverb
When the blood from your veins return to the sea and the earth from your bones return to the ground, perhaps then you will remember that this land does not belong to you, it is you that belongs to the land. - Native american saying
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Traveled to the Pacific Southwest around Vancouver and stayed with some great people for my first experience with couchsurfers.
I then traveled to Western Kenya with couchsurfing and met a great person who was working on a permaculture project.
After that I've hosted two people at my home in Nairobi, one was a biker circumventing the african continent and the other was a Taiwanese backpacker.
Interests
My interests are wide and varied as I go through life trying to understand what it all means.
I like to share stories over a fire, cooking for people, meditating in the woods, camping, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, listening to all types of music, traveling, discovering new horizons (mental or physical) and lastly thinking of ways to revolutionize this decrepit global system we abide by.
