ABOUT ME

I love travelling to discover new places and meet new people. I am open-minded and like new adventures.
I have lived and worked on 3 different continents and I have travelled in more than 30 countries on 5 continents but there are still many more to discover!
I also enjoy photography and cooking.
I am quite easy going, I try to smile all the time and I like meeting new people to discover new cultures.

I am volunteer at a small museum where we kept one of the first French Particle accelerator, so if you are in Paris and are interested, contact me for a visit.

I also like cooking, so if you host me I will be happy to cook some french food for you!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favorite author is probably Jules Verne. But I also like many other authors (I was a librarian for 4 years when I was a student): Hermann Hesse, Jack Londin, Soljenitsyne, Frank Herbert (Dune), Terry Pratchett (Discworld), Ian Stewart, Isabel Allende, Antoine de St Exupery, Tolkien,... and of course GRR Martin (Games of Thrones).

Leave my home country to work for 2 years in a country whose language I did not understand (Japan), travel across Australia alone,...

I love teaching, its even part of my job!
Learning is the other part of my job! :-)
And I like sharing when I have learnt. When I have time I write article for magazines mostly about science, sometimes about computing.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I have a guest room with one couch for 1 person (or 2 as a couple) and we can add an air mattress for 2 more people. If there are more than 3 people, you can also sleep on air mattresses in the lounge.

I like to have time to discuss with my guests so we can drink tea together and discuss about what you want to see in Paris. If I have more time available, we can visit Paris together or I can cook some french food for you!
