Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Paris. I love its smell after the rain, its silence when it snows (which is once every 5 years), its lights when night falls early in the winter and it’s “terrasses” when the sun stays up late in spring. I love going to museums and movie theatres.
But I’m mostly a nature guy. I have always been a bird lover (don’t ask me why, I really don’t know). I am naturally drawn to wide landscapes with low vegetation as in Iceland or Ireland. But I also like jungles, deserts. I also like hiking to get the feeling you're standing in a place so remote that just a few people have seen it before.
I love writing. I write for a living. I write mostly cartoons for TV. I wort my first movie this year and published my first novel.
I also love Photography. I had my first DSLR when I was 11. For a long time I took pictures of birds and nature and dreamt of being a national geographic photographer. Now I'm more of a travel photographer and I also love taking pictures of people and architecture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a real passion for traveling. I enjoy discovering new places, new cultures, new food and new people. All my best memories are about encounters with local people and discovering their lifestyle : eating crickets in an old wooden farm lost in the middle of China, sharing the life of puffin hunters in Iceland cliffs, discovering it's national day when landing in northen Norway and being invited to drink champagne and sing songs in a wooden house by some Norvegian people I randomly met, meeting with a whale scientist in Dominica...
