I used to be a nice CouchSurfer advocate, with tons of positive references and 3 vouches.
I now realize that CouchSurfing has gone really bad, so I'm out of it. I keep this account live to warn people about their private data, which CS is shamelessly violating.
THAT MEANS I AM NOT ACCEPTING GUESTS ANYMORE. Try BeWelcome or some other website, be safe and avoid Couch Surfing as soon as you can.
BeWelcome seem to be a better alternative.
