Hi, if I wanted to resume myself in a kind of exact but fun way, I'd say well (in view of my age ), I'm an old eco friendly reponsible hippie who has travelled abit around the world, who has put together several different musical street shows, (see www.nicolasheighway.com for more), and who now teaches English to kids in difficulty in a local school. I have renovated an old house and can provide temporary accomodation for up to 4 people. I have an organic garden and I try to support all initiatives that help this world move more towards an environnementally, caring and sharing community. I write songs, sing and play , various instruments like the Dulcimer, Kora, Saxophone and Piano. I worked also as a Shiatsu practioner and still practise on occasion. I have 2 kids , a boy 10 and a girl 16 who come and stay with me regularly. I enjoy meeting people and love travelling when I can. I am in the process of working on a non profit solidarity eco- projet, at my home on my grounds, involving the planting of an orchard which will be open to all when it comes to sharing the harvest, a pond/natural swimming pool to encourage bio-diversity, the rehabilitating of 3 domes (ex show props) of 3m30 wide, one to be used as nature workshop classroom, intimate concert space, another for personal devloppement and meditation, and the third as a sauna.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like authentic encounters and surprises (the good kind) so coach surfing seems to me like a great way to encourage both. I enjoy meeting people and being a host. My house is clean, wellcoming and I have space. When it comes to accomodating me, I am happy to adjust to your space and to what is available or posssible as long as it is clean and that I can wash. Couchsurfing is also a great way to reduce travel costs but also a great way to create tomorrow's new more caring, exchanging and sharing community.

Interests

I enjoy discovering the world and its inhabitants, sharing and discovering. My key words are inspiration, creation, absurditation (it's like méditation but with an A ! ) chocolate and all thingq bright and beautiful....
