About Me
Hey !
I'm Nicolas, but you can call me Nico, or Nick, it usually makes it easier.
I've been hit by the travel bug a few years ago, and still haven't got enough.
I studied sound for audiovisual (on field recording, post-production, etc...), and plan to get back into it when I'll settle somewhere. For now I work as a chef, wherever I can get a job.
I like to hang out around a cold beer, and some live music, but I am a bit lazy and need a push to go out !
I enjoy a good talk, and like to discover places and cultures.
Anyway, I don't really know what else to say. Anything I forgot, just send a message !

Interests
I've always been into music, I play a little bit of bass, drums and piano.
I listen to various kinds of music, from classical to drum'n'bass including world music, but what I prefer is the 60's and early 70's rock music.
I also do some photography. I like the work of artists like Cartier-Bresson, JR, or James Nachtwey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In february, as I went a bit out of the Great Ocean Road (in Australia), I stopped in front of an eucalyptus tree where a Koala was waking up. He went down the tree and pass just next to me to go to another tree and take a nap. These things are quite big when seen closely !
In Japan, I went to this city called Akihabara. Even on the road signs, there is a caption "Electronic Town". Actually it is a city where nobody lives, there are only electronic stuff shop and restaurant. Maybe some hotels. This is the place where you can find cosplays people in the street, huge game center, huge electronic malls ! Awesome !
Teach, Learn, Share
As I studied sound engineering, I might help you understanding the basics notions in sound.
I really enjoy cooking, so I really want to learn how to cook humm..; say.. Everything ! So I'd be glad if someone could show me his local meals and how to cook them.
