I am a 27-year old guy and I want to discover the world now that I am done with my studies. I finished two years ago a world trip that lead me to several countries and cultures. My roadmap was the following: China, India, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my backpacker's life, I went to many hostels but I felt like something was missing. Altough I enjoyed meeting people from all around the globe, this was not really what I was looking for. I really wanted to become more an actor than a spectator during my trips and get to know more about everything "local".

I started by buying newspaper in the countries that I visited. This partly helped me. Then, I discovered Couchsurfing by travelling with some friends in China. After my first experience, I really felt that the service was the perfect way to get more of the local touch while bringing people more knowledge about the Belgian culture! When I will be back, I hope to be able to offer my hospitality by hosting people from everywhere as well :)

Interests

I like nature, landscapes, languages and meeting new people. I also like photography and one day, I am dreaming about launching my own beer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a 38°C bath outside in an Icelandic hotpot with an external temperature of around -30°C. I will never forget my icy helmet made of frozen hair :)
