ABOUT ME

Smiling a lot certainly ! I love laughing, about myself most of the time as I can be a bit clumsy ^^"
I'm also the type of guy who knows quite a lot of anecdotes, most of them not knowing even myself where they do come from !
I'm easy going but can sometimes be more of a listener than a talker, at least until you begin asking me questions, from then you opened Pandora's box ;)
I'm also a student in engineering, who specialized in energy, for what that matters.

PHILOSOPHY

Quite the spontaneous person, who likes to go in a train station and just buy a ticket for the sake of visiting someplace :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I was in Norway for summer 2014 for an internship and I took advantage of being in another country to go around and see what Norway had to offer me !
Of course I did it by Couchsurfing because what is better to discover a country than discovering its people ?

Work kinda got in the way, back on the platform to meet new people and perhaps travel some more !

Centres d'intérêt

Growing up in the French Alps must have made me into a nature lover and quite the hiker !
I love meeting new people (one of the "worst" things I do is talking to tourists and complete strangers, especially on trains, what would my mother say ? *Don't worry, she's totally cool about that :P*), discovering places, trying new experiences,... "I love surprises" might be the best, and the less original, summary.
I also play the violin, and love touching a piano, even if I barely manage to find where my fingers should be ! I do also sing and am the choirmaster at my school. About sports, let's say that I did a lot of horseriding and am slowly getting back into it after a two year stop.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies : I hate sad movies ! In fact I love them, it's just that I always end up crying for an hour after...
I'm also a big fan of the Disneys, wondering if I ever grew up somehow.

Music : I do not find a genra I don't like, I pretty much cycle. Today I may go full Eminem, morph into a hardcore Vivaldi fan tomorrow and following it by Janis Joplin-day ^^

Books : I love fantasy ! Not too original there indeed. I also do love Agatha Christie's books as Poirot and Marple have a special place in my heart.
Stephen King also has a place there, even if I try not going too much around it, I need some sleep ! Haha

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Flying above the Mont Blanc in a small plane : I had earned a prize and some guy went to me saying he really liked my acceptance speech and offered me this amazing experience, would have never thought what the power of words could be !

Going to the USA : went on a roadtrip there, a month starting from LA to NYC through the southern states. The moment I'll most remember is seeing the Grand Canyon, was put on the edge blindfolded by a friend who had already been there and discovered the view. I think that at that time something got stuck in my eye :)

And still waiting to discover so much more !

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

A lot and a lot of conversation about many different subjects ! I also have from time to time a cooking tip, and if I'm in a good mood you may get some French pastries (revisited to my liking) !
I'm also a huge history nerd and love listening to and talking about what happened in places.
