Hi! I'm Nicole :) I was born and raised in the Masurian Lake District, Poland. I moved to the United Kingdom when I was 19 and have lived there since. I have always felt a citizen of the world, so I can't imagine my life without exploring it as much as possible.

My way of life is based on getting out of my comfort zone as I believe that's where the magic happens. I love trying new things and meeting new people.

Most of all, I am a nature lover so it is no surprise that wherever I go I like to get lost in the woods in search of a nice hike and beautiful views. Imagine a warm summer evening, you, your family, and friends are sitting around the campfire. One of you is playing the guitar while the rest of you is singing. Among all these people you can find me, the happiest person in the world. Actually, wait! If you add to that sailing or hiking in the daytime, then you imagine the happiest person in the world crying with happiness and gratitude.

I think each of us has a story to tell and we all can learn something from each other. When we travel and meet new people, we share moments. We experience together and that is amazing about traveling! If you get this vibe, then we will definitely have fun together! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love reading books and traveling reminds me of it. Any place without people is just an illustration. Local people are the ones that add stories, emotions, words... and that is how the whole book is created. All of us, travelers can only explore the place to the fullest by reading the whole book.

So anywhere I travel, I want to get to know local people and to explore the area with them. Because who else can help me to feel the vibe of the city better than them?
