To experience different cultures through the locals’ eyes. Although I would like to see some touristy things, I’d also really enjoy going to the locals’ favorite restaurants, pubs, and so on!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much anything except country. I love comedies, but I also love horror films and psychological thrillers. I haven’t had much time to read for pleasure, as I’ve been in college reading nothing but textbooks! I’d love to get back into leisurely reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a complete solar eclipse atop Mount Rainier after one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I definitely want to learn Spanish. I can understand it pretty well if it’s spoken slowly and clearly. However, I can’t really speak the language. I want to learn because half of my family only speaks Spanish, and I haven’t been able to speak with them as much as I would like to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I tend to keep to myself and come across as introverted if I do not know someone well enough. I would really like to work on this and to be able to come out of my shell a bit!
